The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the awards organization, announced the shortlist in 10 categories on Tuesday. Nominations for the 95th Academy Awards will be announced on January 24, and the Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 12 at the Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.
Directed by Pan Nalin, Chilo Show has been shortlisted in the International Feature Film category and will compete against 14 other films, including Argentina 1985 (Argentina), The Band (Belgium), The Decision to Leave (South Korea) and Scoop On .
