As their headline concert on the first night of the Copenhagen metal festival COPENHELL on June 15, 2022, the show is now available to stream and download via LiveMetallica.com or nugs.net.

It was an ordinary concert. As Metallica said, “After closing most of a billion shows, ‘Intersandman’ was relegated to third place on the set list.” And even more amazingly, for the first time since 1997, Metallica closed the night with Master of Puppets.

Metallica have a few dates left in Europe, including Hellfest in France on June 26 and Mad Cool Festival in Spain on July 6. They return to the US for the last three concerts of the year: in Chicago, Buffalo and Pittsburgh. You can find the full travel itineraries here.

Starting in April 2023, we’ll be visiting 22 different cities around the world and playing two nights in each city, and each ‘weekend of no repeat’ show will be a completely unique experience: two completely different set lists with two different bands that open every show. Most shows (sorry, not all – we tried!) will be on Fridays and Sundays, so you can be sure we’ll have plenty of extracurricular activities for you to enjoy before and after the show. PITTSBURGH — The mighty Metallica packed PNC Park with fans on Sunday for a sold-out stadium tour that visited only a select few U.S. cities this year and joins stops in South America and Europe.
Greta Van Fleet and the Ice Nine Kills opened the show to an enthusiastic crowd in the Pittsburgh area that covered the stadium seats and the field en masse in black T-shirts in comparison to the Pirates’ home game.

But Metallica brought up Jolly Roger in their own way, with an official Pittsburgh tour poster that flaunts the four characters’ skulls in vivid illustrations. Between the opening and the title curtain, poster images were displayed on large screens around the distant stage.
The show wraps up a three-night stadium run at PNC Park over four days, starting Thursday night with Billy Joel and continuing the stadium tour with Motley Crue on Friday night at Def. Leopard with poison. and Joan Jett and the Black Hearts. The Pittsburgh Steelers also (.. and it’s still hard to tell…) hosted a preseason game at Accresur Stadium.
