Inktober Prompt List 2023 – Chris Blazen is back and has something awesome to share! INKTOWER is built for 2022 and we all want to be there. Chris had a unique approach to the popular annual challenge. Instead of doing 31 paintings in 31 days why not do 1 painting in 31 days?
So he decided to design and build an answer to the question: What would every 31-story skyscraper look like if it got the question on the 2022 list? He decided to do a great job.

So he did! Day after day and written work piled up and installed INKTOWER. Each floor tells the same story as the one below it. We loved seeing this vision come to life and knew we had to believe in it.

Just because the month is over doesn’t mean you have to stop. Be creative, be funny and join us for #2023!
Let’s rely on your current pace. Don’t worry, it won’t be the same as last month’s run, but an artist who’s on the move keeps on moving! Luckily, we only have a few weeks until the end of the year to keep our creativity alive. If you can’t last the whole year, don’t worry! Jump in and get it! This week’s challenge is 52. If you’re an artist, you may be familiar with the term Inktober, but for non-artists, it’s hard to draw every day in October.
If you’ve been reading my blog, you know I like to draw, I don’t draw. I am disappointed with it and so the idea of a coloring challenge will not sit well with me.

I like the idea of inviting art, though; It gives you a reason to create when you have no reason otherwise. So I knew it was supposed to be a coloring challenge, but I thought I’d make it an art challenge and forget about the painting part. Make a collage, draw, write, take pictures and use anything to complete the challenge. There are no rules for this challenge except to try and create using the questions below.
Between work and life in general, create a schedule where you go once a week, twice a week, or outright every day, even if it’s hard to keep up with the daily challenges.
As I mentioned in the Visual Journal question articles, you can take the questions as you wish. No right or wrong, enjoy!
