More than 24 festivals will be celebrated in West Bengal in 2023. Major festivals are Saraswati puja, durga puja, kali puja, laxmi puja and others. This year Bengali New Year is celebrated on Saturday 15th April 2023 and Rabindranath Tagore’s birthday is on Tuesday 9th May 2023. There are about 9 festivals and events not included in the schedule , Netaji, falls on public holidays like Sunday and Saturday.
