One of the problems the report found was that the administration did not document that inmates in the cells were given one hour of daylight.

“Everything was documented, but it wasn’t what they wanted,” Lucio said. “So we created a new look and now they have the right look that they want.”
“They were confronted, reported, but it didn’t go the way they wanted,” he said.
“They didn’t want us to keep sanitary facilities in the cell,” Lucio said. “They say that we should be released from prison, now we are out of prison, what are they saying to us? “To bring him back.”

“They usually change from one day to the next,” he said. According to the inspector who came here, he can explain it somehow, or he can get some education, and that’s what we have to do.”
The sheriff said the fire hydrant at Carrizales Rucker was red-tagged on Oct. 9 and has not been re-inspected since then, so the problem has been resolved.
According to Lucio, the fire panel was not repaired because of a delay in receiving the parts.
